fav is a small voting-room app for choosing names, images, product details, and other ideas with invited participants. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

When you use fav, we may collect the information you provide directly, such as your email address, project names, voting options, private notes, and comments.

If you sign in with Google, we receive basic account information made available by Google, such as your email address, so we can identify your account in the app.

How we use information

We use your information to provide voting rooms, save your choices, show shared vote links, authenticate your account, prevent abuse, and improve the product.

We do not sell your personal information.

Sharing

Vote rooms and shared links may be visible to anyone who has access to the link, depending on the settings selected by the room owner.

We may share information with service providers that help us operate the app, such as hosting, authentication, analytics, or storage providers, only as needed for those services.

Data retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide fav, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

You can contact us to request deletion of your account information.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no internet service can guarantee perfect security.

Children

fav is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date on this page.
